Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 28, 2026 · Last updated: October 28, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Printer Care (“Printer Care,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website or use our online printer support services (the “Services”). By using our website or Services, you agree to the practices described here.
Printer Care is an independent, third-party support provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by any printer manufacturer.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you call us, send a callback request or book support, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, printer brand and model, a description of your issue, and any other details you choose to share. If you pay for a service, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Information from remote support sessions. If you approve a remote session, we may see your screen and access device information needed to fix the issue, such as operating system, printer drivers, printer settings and network settings. See Section 6.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring page, approximate location (such as the time zone of your device) and the date and time of your visit.
Call information. We may monitor or record calls for quality, training and record-keeping purposes. We will tell you at the start of a call if it is being recorded.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your requests, schedule and provide support, and give you a quote.
- To process payments and keep business records.
- To communicate with you about your service, including calls, texts and emails related to your request.
- To operate, secure and improve our website and Services, and to prevent fraud or misuse.
- To measure and improve our advertising, as described in Section 4.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
4. Cookies and advertising
We may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including those from Google (such as Google Ads conversion tracking and Google Analytics), to understand how visitors use our website, to measure whether our ads lead to calls or requests, and to show relevant ads. These providers may collect information about your visit under their own privacy policies.
You can control these technologies by changing your browser settings, using Google’s Ads Settings, or visiting optout.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org. We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required by law.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as phone and messaging providers, remote support software, payment processors, hosting, analytics and advertising platforms. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons, such as responding to lawful requests, protecting our rights, or preventing fraud or harm.
- Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- With your consent or at your direction.
Some advertising and analytics cookies may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain state laws. You can opt out as described in Section 4 or by contacting us.
6. Remote support sessions
Remote sessions start only when you agree, you can watch everything we do, and you can end a session at any time. We do not ask for passwords to your bank, card, email or other personal accounts to fix a printer, and we ask you not to share them. We access only what is reasonably needed to resolve your printer issue. We recommend you close personal documents and private windows before a session starts.
7. Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and to resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your US privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Utah and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and request a copy;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email support@printcarely.com or call +1 (785) 301-0085. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request for you. We will respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). If we deny a request, you may be able to appeal by contacting us.
Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents may ask once a year about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.
9. Children
Our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where required by law). If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of our website or Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
